How Do I Choose Plastic Pallets?
Schoeller Arca Systems’ plastic pallets provide the most solid, cost-effective foundation for your cargo operations. Made of heavy-grade PPC / HDPE, their durability, lighter weight, and more sanitary properties give them a much higher return on investment than traditional wooden pallets. Follow the steps below to identify the pallet that best suit your needs.
- Choose plastic pallets over wooden ones. Plastic weighs less than wood and costs less to transport. It is hygienic, easy to clean, and does not chip or contain nails, making it safe to handle.
- Define the required load capacity for static, dynamic and racking load so you can choose between a Light, Medium or Heavy pallet.
- Decide what size pallet you need. Schoeller Arca Systems’ plastic pallets are available in all common, standard sizes from 600 x 400 small display pallets to 1300 x 1100 mm large recycled pallets. Of course you also find industrial pallets sized 1200 x 800 and 1200 x 1000 mm among our extensive recycled pallets range.
- Choose between BiPP and EOS plastic pallets. BiPP is for Multi-trip use and EOS for limited trips.
Cost Effective Plastic Pallets
Multi-trip plastic pallets can make many trips before being recycled, making them highly efficient on a cost per trip basis and leading to a swift return on investment. Limited trip euro pallets are cost effective and suitable for one way situations where returnable packaging is not an option. Both are inexpensive to maintain and do not require treating for international shipping, leading to enormous savings.
Plastic Pallets with RFID and Corporate Branding
Many Schoeller Arca Systems plastic pallets feature special pockets for radio frequency identification (RFID) tags in which the tags are watertightly protected. Also other smart RFID solutions are developed for the whole industrial pallets range. This RFID technology allow companies to track and trace palletised loads and maintain better control of the fleet. Euro pallets can have logos embossed or printed on the sides. This raises a company’s professional profile with suppliers and customers.
